First let me get this out of the way. Here’s the downloads for Part VII: music and images. If you don’t feel like getting them now you can pick them up later through the collection page.
Next in the collection is an arrange for Last Remote. While I myself have not gotten to the extra stage, or past catOrin in stage 5 for that matter) I can’t say all too much about Koishi. I do know that she’s a bit odd though so I can safely say that this song fits her. It’s pretty upbeat, but has a dark side to it. Perhaps that’s because she’s a satori?
Yes it’s the end of yet another part of the collection. I have to warn you though, things will be going very slowly since the next semester starts next week. On another note I’ve updated all the links in the collection’s video info to HD, except 0006 which isn’t a HD video, since youtube did something and now HQ picture quality is crap. I’m going to pulling out some songs I’ve been saving up in Part VII so look forward to that. And now for the Part VI downloads: songs are here and images are here. You can always get them later in ‘Nuke-tan Collection’ section of the site.
The final song I really wanted to go with something simple. This is a beautiful cover of Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Ancient Temple that was exactly how Part VI should end. Piano pieces are great because even though there isn’t much to them they can draw out so many types of emotions. It’s always nice to cool down with a song like this.
Combining the three song titles didn’t go so well this time as you can see, but this is finally the end of Part V of the collection. I’m actually amazed I’ve gotten this far since I thought the collection had indeed died. But you can thank Ultimate Truth for bringing it back to life. That stage theme really inspired me to continue, which sounds kind of cheesy… As always I have the downloads ready so you can find the music here and the images here or later on the Nuke-tan Collection page.
Starting out the finale of Part V is a truly gorgeous arrange of Charming Domination. Every part of this song is perfect. I don’t have to say anything more.
I had actually planned for this song to be 0012, but I had a little screw up and put another arrange instead. Both are great, but I this piece is better. Another Xi masterpiece, but don’t be too surprised since all of his songs will probably end up in the collection sooner or later. This song always manages to blow my mind. It’s just amazing.
The finale to Part V song numer 50. I had originally planned for it to be a Marisa theme, but then I got a little mixed up today and decided on another song (which will be 0051). It was right before I put everything together that I came across this gem of a song. So in the end I was able to keep things as I had originally planned. This is a very nice techno arrange of Love-Colored Master Spark. There’s another one that I have, but I’m saving that for later.
I hope you have enjoyed the songs from the collection so far. Please look forward to many more mind blowing pieces in the future.
I’ve been lazy and haven’t made a post yet for these songs so here they all are in one post. End of Part IV means that part of the collection is now available for download. The songs are here while the images are here.
For the second half of Part IV we have a nice arrange of Flowering Night with a little something else. Like always I’ll leave it up to you to find out what that is. Flowering Night is up there in my favorite ZUN songs, though it doesn’t quite reach the top I love it very much. I actually couldn’t believe that I hadn’t put a Flowering Night song into the collection until now. All in all this is a nice piece.
Plain Asia is a good song that I admit to not liking for a long time. Now that I love it I wanted to find a good arrange for it, but there wasn’t too many to choose from. While that did make me sad I was happy that this one was really good. I know it’s an old song so most have probably heard it before, but it just had to be in the collection. There was no way I would ignore a song like this.
Another older arrange for a song that doesn’t have many. It’s really sad that there isn’t a lot of arranges/covers for the Grimoire of Alice. It is infact one of my favorite PC-98 songs, and no not because it’s Alice’s theme (Though I do love Alice very much). This song worked perfectly with the picture as well.
This arrange of Wind God Girl I already have uploaded on my youtube account, but I don’t really care since the it’s the best arrange of the song I’ve heard yet. It’s so full of life and speed, just like Aya. I don’t know about the rest of you, but Wind God Girl is a really good song and I’m not talking about this arrange. The long version of the song is amazing. And if you haven’t heard it yet then go do that now!
Yet another song that doesn’t have many arranges/covers even though it should. Poison Body ~ Forsaken Doll is sadly far too much overlooked. Even Medicine Melancholy herself is overlooked as there is hardly any fanart of her. This arrange is a Metal/Rock which doesn’t really fit her, but at the same time it does. Enough of my rambling though.
Rounding out Part IV is a lovely instrumental of Faith is for the Transient People. I’m not a big fan of Sanae, but I don’t hate her either. But I do like her theme. While I do know that this isn’t the arrange with the most ‘bang’ it’s still very good. I put it here because there were so many rock/metal songs it was time to slow things down a bit.
Well you know where to find the downloads for Part IV if you’re not getting them now. I already have the next song prepared, but there will be a slow down for a special song is coming soon. I’m sure some people will be able to guess what’s coming later this week…
With this post Part III has ended. And of course I have everything ready. You can get Part III music here and the images here, or you can get them later from the Nuke-tan Collection page.
Rounding out Part III is a beautiful piece from Rei. Love-Coloured Master Spark is a great song, but personally I like the old PC-98 original Love-Coloured Magic. Even though I say that I can’t deny that this is a great song. You’d think that because it’s orchestrated it would lose it’s playful charm, but after listening to the song just a little bit you know that it’s still very much there. You can expect to find more of Rei’s arranges along the way, but for now enjoy Magical Battle.
Can’t wait to start on Part IV so keep an eye out since it’ll be out sooner than you would think.
The final two songs in Part II are indeed paired together. I’m sure that from the title you know what to expect…
I don’t have much to say about either except that they are both great pieces. You can pick up Nuke-tan Collection Part II here and Image Collection Part II here. I’ve started to slow down on my uploads so don’t expect 5 in a day anymore. With Part II done that can only mean new songs to come and I already have some good ones planned out.
Changed my mind and so I’ll upload whenever I want. I did 5 today because I wanted to get the first part of the collection. Seems like there was a lot of Subterranean Animism in this part, but what I can say? I love the songs in SA so there’ll probably be a lot along the way. Well let’s get things started.
First off you can download the first 10 songs here and can get the images here.
Number 0006 is a lovely combo between Walking the Streets of Former Hell and Flower-Studded Sake Dish on Mt. Ooe. A very well played song I must say. I’ve really grown to love Toy’s work and you can definitely expect more of it in time.
Next up is a gorgeous orchestrated Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion. This song really takes my breath away (yeah that sounds cheesy, but it’s true). The original has loads of power behind it, but this packs an even bigger punch. I tried to find a picture to fit the song, but to be honest it’s not really possible. No words can really explain just how great this song is.
Ah The Witches’ Ball ~ Magus the song from Shuusou Goku of the Seihou series is a song that never ceases to amaze me, no matter what form it takes. Easily Marisa’s best theme. Xi did things more than just right with this song.
Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye is a great song, I fully admit to that, but most of the arranges and covers sound the same. It’s a sad truth. But since only most are the some means that of course there are those which stand above the crowd. And by some I mean this song. 高瀬 is one of my favorite arrangers and he didn’t let me down with this one.
Last in the first part of Nuke-tan is a wonderfully simple piano piece. For the most part it’s Corpse Voyage ~ Be of Good Cheer!, but then comes a little surprise… I’ll leave it up to you to find out what it is.
With Part I finished I cannot wait to get started on the next! I hope you enjoyed the music.
