Crimson in the Black Sea, Catastrophe in Bhava-agra As Seen Through a Child’s Mind

My failed attempt at a title for this post came out rather long, but moving on to the music. As I said in the last post the downloads for this part will be delayed, but I should have them ready by the next post. After playing some Scarlet Weather Rhapsody I had noticed that there were no songs from it in the collection (and I mean songs only in SWR when I say that). I do admit that way back when I first played SWR I did not like Iku or Tenshi’s themes. I hated them. But now I love them very much and proudly give you a three lovely arranges for those songs.

First up is a gorgeous arrange of Nagae Iku’s theme Crimson in the Black Sea ~ Legendary Fish. Iku scares me with her lightning, but I do love her and this song. Since she frightens me I wanted nothing less than something on a more godly level of an arrange for her, but this is the best I could do (I’m not saying it’s not good though).

The second is yet another orchestrated piece, but for Hinanai Tenshi’s theme Catastrophe in Bhava-agra ~ Wonderful Heaven. I was pretty let down when I found that most arranges and covers for this song were techno, and not all too great at that. Out of all the ones I heard this one grabbed my attention the most. It’s rather fitting for a celestial like herself, but I wish it had a lot more impact….

This final piece of the trio is fabulous. I had gone back and fourth through a few songs trying to decide which to put into the collection and without a doubt this one was above the rest. It brought a completely different feeling than all the others, which was exactly what I wanted. Overall it’s an amazing piece and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Look forward to more amazing pieces…
