The Venerable Ancient Battlefield

After nearly a month of no activity is the next song, but before I get to that I would like to announce that my channel now has over 100 subscribers! Thank you very much to every, those who have been with the collection the longest to those who have joined more recently. If it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t have any reason to keep the collection going so thank you again!

This next piece is an amazing vocal arrange from SYNC.ART’s. If you even just a little about Touhou arranges and covers then you should have heard about SYNC.ART’s by now as they do a lot of great songs (This one included of course). I’ve known about this song for a very long time now, but have been ‘saving it for a rainy day’. The vocalist in this piece did a great job and I won’t forget to mention the guitar in this either. The short guitar solo at the end is very nice and honestly I wish someone would do Suwa Foughten Field with that sort of feeling. ZUN said that this song is supposed to make you feel “awe towards a god, and a part which makes you feel the gravity of history.”. Without a doubt this vocal arrange did just that.

Until the next song…

The Night of Eternity

The last song I had forgotten to make a post about…

Flowering Night is easily one of my favorite characters songs from the Touhou series. The one in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody is just…. amazing. Putting the official arranges aside Wooming and Coro did more than an excellent job with this song. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this song. This is one of those few times where I will say a song takes my breath away. And about the picture…. it’s a main reason why I hadn’t put The Night of Eternity into my collection until now. For songs like these I will not put them in unless they have a picture fitting for them. In my opinion, it’s like this picture was made for this song.

Crimson Belvedere ~ Eastern Dream…

Okay so I completely forgot to make some posts for some songs so here they are. Better late than never right?

The next part of the collection is yet another pair. This time using the same song, Crimson Belvedere ~ Eastern Dream… . I know it’s just the staff theme, but for some reason this song really captures my heart. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the best pictures for either of these songs and I apologize for that.

The first song is a lovely instrumental piece. This song is a bit childish, but also sad (Crimson Belvedere is simply a sad song in my eyes). Most of the arranges and covers are techno so this is like a hidden gem.

The second has much more to it. I had two songs I wanted to use, but I felt putting three at once was overkill so in the end I went with this one as the second song. Like most Crimson Belvedere’s it is indeed a techno song, but this one stands above the rest. This song comes from a completely unknown circle to me so it was a bit exciting to find it. I really like this song, but somehow I just can’t put my feelings about it into words…
