End of Part VI – Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Ancient Temple

Yes it’s the end of yet another part of the collection. I have to warn you though, things will be going very slowly since the next semester starts next week. On another note I’ve updated all the links in the collection’s video info to HD, except 0006 which isn’t a HD video, since youtube did something and now HQ picture quality is crap. I’m going to pulling out some songs I’ve been saving up in Part VII so look forward to that. And now for the Part VI downloads: songs are here and images are here. You can always get them later in ‘Nuke-tan Collection’ section of the site.

The final song I really wanted to go with something simple. This is a beautiful cover of Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Ancient Temple that was exactly how Part VI should end. Piano pieces are great because even though there isn’t much to them they can draw out so many types of emotions. It’s always nice to cool down with a song like this.

Green-Eyed Jealousy

Getting Part VI to end is taking a little longer than I had hoped. I already have the final song chosen and it should it up in the next few days for sure. But let’s focus on the newest song which I have been forgetting to post about.

Green-Eyed Jealousy to me has to be a more saddening song. That’s just the vibe to original gives me. You can be sure that it’s in this lovely arrange as well. With a small hint of happiness in the far back this song gives a small mix of feelings. I was quite surprised at myself to not have put a Green-Eyed Jealousy arrange into the collection until now. I hope you enjoy this song.

Until the next song…

Suwa Foughten Field, Native Faith, and a Gorgeous Guardian

I forgot to make a post yesterday about the new videos, sorry. After a ~2 week break the collection finally has some new additions. Today Part VI will end with 0059 and 0060. But first let’s go over the pieces from yesterday.

First up is the final song from the 東方JeuXinTerdiTs album that is going into the collection. Without a doubt this is a great cover for Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea. Everything that goes into this song matches Meiling to T in my opinion. She truly is a gorgeous guardian.

What was originally going to be song number one in the collection finally makes it’s appearance as 0057. There was only one reason why I didn’t put this masterpiece into the collection until now. That reason being the lack of a picture fitting for the song. Kanako is a strong women with some class so I wanted to show that with this song. And yes Kanako is one of my favorite characters, I won’t deny that. Honestly all I have to say about this song is that it’s a masterpiece. Please enjoy it.

The last song from yesterday was a very playful techno-trance Native Faith. I was going to pair this one up with an extremely simple and gorgeous cover, but it fit more with 0057. I love Native Faith to death and this arrange of it is great. When I think of Suwako I think of playful little diety. And that is what I get from this song.

And there you have another song pairing along with some China love.

U.N. Owen ~ Luna Dial

IOSYS’s most recent album is nothing less than amazing. The entire album was done by minami under IOSYS, in short no one from the main team had anything to do with this. So far I only have my hands on a portion of the album, but once I get the rest they’ll be in the collection without a doubt.

First up today is the best U.N. Owen was her? arrange I’ve heard yet. Most sound pretty much the same and that is why it hasn’t made it’s appearance into the collection until now. I didn’t want to put any arrange or cover of U.N. Owen in unless it was best. And as of right now this is the best. I hope you like this song.

Finally a slower Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial arrange! And it’s good! I cannot tell you how happy I was when I heard this piece. Most arranges of Sakuya’s original theme are sped up far too much which takes away from the song. Also it’s very different than most because of what part of the song it focuses on which you should be able to tell just from listening to it once. Picture wise I had tons I could have used, but I went with this one because it just fit. Well in my opinion anyway.

In case you didn’t know U.N. Owen stands for Unknown. I plan on uploading some more tomorrow so look forward to it!

The Beloved Tomboyish Girl

A little change in plans as I’ve seemed to skip right over the one a day to what I wanted which is one video every few days or so. Just thought I’d give you guys a heads up about that.

Coming up next is what I find to be a very interesting Beloved Tomboyish Girl arrange. You just have to listen to it to know exactly what I mean. I love the feel that this song has and how well it works with Cirno’s theme. I want to say a little something about the picture I chose this time. I couldn’t find one that fit the song well so I used this one which I believe is a beautiful drawing of Cirno. It’s pretty much the opposite of what you usually see which would be Cirno with her happy go lucky smile. While this one is simply a gorgeous Cirno.

I really hope you enjoy this song.

Last Dance on Mt. Ooe

And so begins Part VI with 0051 and 0052. I’m going to be putting a lot of songs I’ve been saving up into the collection now since my external harddrive that holds all my music decided to act up. Worst case scenario is updates will be delayed until I get a new one and get everything together again, but that hopefully won’t happen since I’ve been pacing myself more with updates now than I used to.

First song of Part VI is a lovely vocal arrange of Necrofantasia. There are two versions of this song the first being the one I put into the collection and the second a remix which might come in later. Might. The vocals in this song are well done in my opinion and give the song just the right feeling. I’ve loved this song since the first time I heard it so I’m happy to finally get it into the collection.

Next up is another song that I’ve been saving up for a while. I wouldn’t doubt that most people have heard this one already seeing as it’s one of nazz-can’s pieces. But I put songs into the collection regardless or how well known or not they are. It’s a good song and does A Flower-Studded Sake Dish on Mt. Ooe justice in the most simple form (nazz-can did the entire album pretty close to the originals after all).

I’m going to try to get things down to 1 song a day for now and not too long after that spread them out even more. I hope you’ve enjoyed all the music so far.

End Part V – Love-Colored Charming Domination in the Sixieth Year

Combining the three song titles didn’t go so well this time as you can see, but this is finally the end of Part V of the collection. I’m actually amazed I’ve gotten this far since I thought the collection had indeed died. But you can thank Ultimate Truth for bringing it back to life. That stage theme really inspired me to continue, which sounds kind of cheesy… As always I have the downloads ready so you can find the music here and the images here or later on the Nuke-tan Collection page.

Starting out the finale of Part V is a truly gorgeous arrange of Charming Domination. Every part of this song is perfect. I don’t have to say anything more.

I had actually planned for this song to be 0012, but I had a little screw up and put another arrange instead. Both are great, but I this piece is better. Another Xi masterpiece, but don’t be too surprised since all of his songs will probably end up in the collection sooner or later. This song always manages to blow my mind. It’s just amazing.

The finale to Part V song numer 50. I had originally planned for it to be a Marisa theme, but then I got a little mixed up today and decided on another song (which will be 0051). It was right before I put everything together that I came across this gem of a song. So in the end I was able to keep things as I had originally planned. This is a very nice techno arrange of Love-Colored Master Spark. There’s another one that I have, but I’m saving that for later.

I hope you have enjoyed the songs from the collection so far. Please look forward to many more mind blowing pieces in the future.

Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Broken Moon

Here’s the next two songs in the collection. I want to put up more today, but I’ll hold off. Indeed I was lazy with the pictures on these two, I apologize for that. I have something important I would like to go over though.

Should my youtube account ever kick the bucket I would like to reassure you that I will continue the collection here on my blog. I’ll figure out a way to make things work when that time comes (and yes I will still put pictures with the music). I won’t let something small like that come between me and my collection.

Broken Moon, if you didn’t know, was originally just a stage theme, but later became one of Suika’s themes in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. This piece is a little faster than I would like for Broken Moon, but it was the only song that gave a strong impression. Regardless it’s very good and if you couldn’t tell is by Xi of AQUAELIE. I hope to find an arrange that does Broken Moon the justice it needs.

I admit I the thought didn’t cross my mind that an arrange for Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Ancient Temple could blow me away like this piece did. Sonic Hispeed Omega (SHO for short) did a wonderful job on this song. It’s exactly what I wanted an arrange of Ancient Temple to be so I am very happy to share it with everyone.

That is it for today, I hope you liked what you heard.

Ultimate Truth – The Revival

My little hiatus whatever you want to call it is over now. I’ll be very slowly updating the collection so don’t expect things to be like they used to. I uploaded 3 versions of Ultimate Truth Yuyuko Saigyouji’s Stage Theme as a revival of the collection. It really did revive my love for Touhou music which I sadly lost touch of for some time. Without further delay let’s get into the music.

Starting out the revived is a very simple cover of Ultimate Truth. This song was exactly what I was looking for when I was first looking for an arrange/cover. It’s simplicity is what makes it so beautiful. No more words are needed, just enjoy what you hear.

This song broke my little idea of a two song revival making it three. I didn’t even think of finding a gorgeous orchestrated Ultimate Truth so this caught me completely off guard. Anyone who has gone through the entire collection knows that I love a good orchestrated piece and I can say that as of right now this is the one for Ultimate Truth.

I don’t even know where to start when trying to put this song under a genre. It’s just a perfect mix of a lot of things. I originally planned on putting a solid rock arrange in for the last song, but was disappointed to find none that were up to my standards. That was when I came across this. And this is simply amazing.

With the collection out of it’s little break I hope to find more songs for you to enjoy. Of course Ultimate Truth won’t be showing up any time soon unless… I find something even more amazing than what you just heard.

Going on a hiatus

I’ve been a little busy recently with school the past few weeks and right now I don’t feel like adding to the collection so I figured I’d just go on hiatus for a little while. Don’t worry this isn’t a ‘never coming back’ message in disguise, I do plan on continuing with this, just not right now. So in the post I’ll catch up with the only two which haven’t been talked about yet, 0041 and 0042.

The first is a song I had sitting around for a while and finally got around to uploading (I had the video ready since ~0020). It’s a nice instrumental of Beware the Umbrella Left There Forever from UFO.

The second is a beautiful orchestrated piece from the same circle who did 0040. Maiden’s Capriccio ~ Dream Battle is a classic in my opinion. Maybe not as much as most of the ‘classic Touhou songs’ , but it still is one. The thing I love the most about this song is how it kept the feeling of the original. I’m not a fan of Reimu, but there’s no denying that this is a great song.

That wraps all the songs up for now. I don’t know when things will start up again, but if you’re subscribed you won’t have any trouble finding out.
